Provider-backed availability
Offer times only when an approved connected system supplies them. If availability or permissions are missing, explain the limit and involve staff rather than fabricate a booking.
Help guests ask for a table, find a booking, or explain a change. Khushie is designed to work through approved reservation systems and keep a clear trail from the phone call to the provider's booking record.
Your restaurant's rules. Approved connections. Clear outcomes.
A reservation assistant is only helpful if the table it offers actually exists. A booking link, a copied calendar or a guessed time does not establish real availability. The assistant needs the provider's current availability and the permissions required for the exact requested action.
Khushie's owner Reservations area is an audit surface: who called, from which number, the requested party and time, and the provider reference when one is confirmed. Your team manages the booking in the reservation system. Khushie does not add a parallel inventory calendar or owner booking form.

Find and verify the correct booking, explain the proposed change, and obtain specific guest confirmation. A change is complete only after the source provider confirms it.
State the restaurant's late policy and capture the caller's expected arrival for staff. Acknowledgment is separate from permission to relay a staff response, and does not guarantee that a table will be held.
Configuration, confirmation and verification each have a part to play.
Review the capabilities and location mapping for your reservation system. Find-only or link-only access does not enable autonomous creation, modification or cancellation.
Read back date, local time, party size and guest details. The guest approves the exact offered reservation or change before the provider action.
Retain the caller, source call, provider ID and provider-supplied secure link. Staff can review what happened without reconstructing a reservation from similar names or phone numbers.
OpenTable, Resy and Toast Tables are examples of reservation systems restaurants may use. Mentioning a provider does not establish a live Khushie integration or partnership.
Clear expectations make a better first conversation.
No. The intended workflow relies on an approved reservation system. Without a supported provider, Khushie should not create autonomous bookings or a separate inventory calendar.
Support depends on approved provider access, the exact capabilities available and your location setup. The current preview does not establish a live connection to those providers. Confirm support before promising phone booking, changes or cancellations.
The owner Reservations page shows history, source references, notes and guest-arrival review. Booking creation, changes and cancellations belong in the provider system or an approved, guest-confirmed phone workflow.
The intended conversation explains the configured policy and notifies staff. An explicit restaurant response may authorize a supported guest call or text. Delivery, generic acknowledgment and a saved note are not approval to promise a table hold or contact the guest automatically.
